Currently the centre is in the progress of creating new blog as a part continual improvement. We going to come out with new layout and of course...with new contents/input to our visitors...

CSD converted to be CSC

To all IIUM community, we feel so honoured to let you know that Counseling Services Department (CSD) is now known as


Counseling Services Centre (CSC)


and it was officially upgraded on 15th March 2010. Thank you to university for the upgrading status and to all CSC staff, keep up good jobs and performance as the expectation is getting higher and higher... =)

It is our hope to ensure that CSC keeps on giving the best services to IIUM community and society as a whole... insya'allah.

The Ending of PGG 30th batch

Semester 2, 2009/2010 comes to the end and just few weeks students will busy with their final examination. In other words, PGG came to the end and Appreciation Night is an annual programme for PGG to acknowledge contribution and commitment given by the PGG members especially musa'id/ah, facilitators and co-facilitators.

Masquarade concept was choosen to make the event become colorful and much more interesting. 244 students attended.

Team Building, Finance Division 2010

Hi! how are u there? hope u are doing well..ok, we are listened about students programmes which were organized under CSD. This time around, we would like to share the happiness of CSD staff when they were invited by Finance Division of IIUM to conduct special programme for their team building activities.

TQ Finance Division for the invitation and we felt so honoured to be with you. Therefore, on 26th February 2010, 5 counselors and our Br Kamaruddin went to Melacca and it was great journey to strengthen our ukhuwah =)

We had dinner at Pengkalan Balak and the IKAN BAKARs were just ok laaaa...did not meet our expectation so that no photos for it..heheheheh...soon after dinner, we just checked in to our chalet and rest for the next day event with Finance Division.

Here are some photos to tell you how the programme was carried out...=)

Nothing much that we would like to share here and only Finance division could feel how the binding was strengthened among them. However, we just like to express our happiness to join their programme. Moreover, it was nice experience to know you all guys from the Finance Division, IIUM.

PGG 30th batch at the end of the corner..

As time goes by, PGG 30th Batch is now in the end of the chapters where PGG is going to organize its Appreciation Night on 5th march 2010.

Here are some stories to be remembered by all members of Personal Growth Group.

1) PGG 30th Batch Facilitation Training Camp
PGG 30th batch started with PGG facilitation Training Camp at Pangkor Village Resort, Pangkor Island, Perak. It involved new appointed PGG co-facilitators, facilitators and Musa'id@ah. The main objectives were to train them on the advance of facilitation skills as well as strengthening binding among this big happy family.

PGG members were to excited before the depature to Pangkor Island.

Psycho drama is an annual event each time we are having Facilitation Training Camp. The event was really helpful to boost students' self confindence as well as promoting team spirit among members.



on the next day, members were taking boat to travel around pangkor island and doing the snorkeling. It was a wonderful experience for those who tried it for the first time.

finally, we would consider that the programme was really succesful and able to achieve its objectives. Members gained knowledge about facilitation skills and they felt so happy with the binding established throughout the programme. It is our hope that the team will work efficiently in organizing all programmes in the future.

Moreover, we are having high expectation that strong binding will result good chemistry and cooperation between facilitators and co-facilitators while handling PGG Sessions (6 series).


2) PGG 30th batch Taaruf & Briefing
few days after went to Pangkor Island, PGG organized Ta'aruf and Briefing which gathered all members as to explain the nature of PGG and divided all new members to their groups. details of the programme are as follows:

Date - 29th December 2010
Venue - Experimental Hall
Time - 8.30pm to 10.30pm

Overall, we were so happy when 231 students came to the event =)













3) PGG 30th batch Workshop on Communication Skills (5th Series)

well, as of now PGG has completed its 5 series of workshop where participants learnt about effective communication skills. The workshop were organized in an interactive ways and conducted by the counselor of CSD








4) PGG 30th Batch Outdoor Session

Alhamdulillah, finally we successfully organized the outdoor session for this memorable batch! the programme was held at Perdana lake Garden where we had the explore race...hhhhhhmmm unfortunately, problems occurred during the programme and it has ruinned the flow of the programme. Neway, we managed to overcome the problem and the most important things are good teamwork and continous support given by all members...


hhhhmm...everything is ok and ran smoothly according to the plan. I guess that all members were really excited to have the Appreciation Night...and we going to share the story of the night later =)
